    It's good that it went down, but..I don't know...I think you still should have gone to the dr.  I think a round of antibiotics would have been good to make sure that you keep the infection away...Just keep it super clean, and keep an eye on it!  If it gets red and/or hot again, GO TO THE DOCTOR!!  Wink

    I like it a lot because...because it pisses you off!

    Personally, I think taking antibiotics for something that doesn't require them is a bad idea on many levels.

    To the OP - glad your piercing's fine now! :)

    Don't lie about your stretching history kids, the catbutt always catches up with you eventually. ;)

    Thanks. :D I feel foolish for freaking out, but I'm happy that I don't have anything to worry about.

    I agree, antibiotics screw with my body chemistry in bad ways... and they are over prescribed...you go in with a sore throat and they treat it like strep, even though viruses cause the majority of sore throats.  Additionally, if you are going to an emergency room after hours to see a Dr. you will be LOW on the priority list and it will be morning until you can see one pretty much. Unless you have a fever already, then they will speed it up a little.  

    I never take myself too seriously...

    It probably just wanted a little sss. Mine have done that twice now... it's scary until you give them sss and then they're like instantly happier.
