I've stretched my ears very slowly and I've never had any problems with stretching.
I was at 4g for about 5 or 6 months and I decided I wanted to go bigger.
I stretched with one of my friend's, very throughly cleaned, acrylic tapers.
I wasn't happy with using acrylic since I've always used metal but I didn't want to fork out my money.
I then put in his, also very throughly washed, 2g gorilla glass single-flare bulletholes
They were fine- no problems.
I waited for a little over a month and 3 weeks to stretch to 0g.
I, again, borrowed my friend's taper, which again, was acrylic.
I also borrowed a different friend's acrylic 0gs. I have no money.
The stretch was a lot more painful than it ever has been and my right ear bled a very little bit.
They felt extremely tight in my ears for about 5 days and I knew I should've downsized.
I traded the 2g gorilla glass bulletholes for the 0gs though so I didn't have smaller jewelry.
I decided the only thing I could really do was wait it out and hope it would go smoothly.
I washed them with saline solution twice a day and turned them as much as possible to prevent sticking and loosen them up.
After those 5 days, they become looser and not painful.
They stayed normal for about to weeks.
Then one day I go to take out the plug in my right ear and it has scabs on it and is painful.
I look at my ear and it was blown out horribly; it looks like an ear hemroid.
I bend my lobe to see the other side on the mirror and a huge raw mass of skin is pertruding from the back of the hole.
It's been about 2 or 3 weeks and not much has improved.
I think it may have gotten slightly infected from a small infectioin-like discharge and bad smell.
Yesterday my single-flare obsidian or onyx plugs came in, they seem to be helping.
I still have a almost stinging pain when I put the earring back in and there's a huge scab on the piece of skin.
I've been cleaning the hole and around the hole with a q-tip and saline solution and removing all puss and blood-like things.
Every morning I wake up with a crusty hunk of puss and scab where my ear lobe meets my head.
I clean the scab on the back of my ear and it seems to slowly be coming off.
The blowout extends to about 3/4s the way down the lenght of the earring. It is extrememly sensitive and I want to make it as better as possible.
I know I should've done sized. I need to know what to do know unless you have a time machine I could use.
