    Sewing up ear holes?

I've had my plugs out for over a year, never wear them anymore. My grandma wants to pay for surgery to get the holes sewn, and I figure this is a good idea since i don't plan on putting them back in (plus it's free). My question was this; does anyone know of a good surgeon to go to for this? or have any info at all? I live in the Bay Area, CA and would be able to travel a bit to get this done. Thanks for any help you might have.

I don't have an answer for you but I was just curious, what size did you stretch up to and what size are they at now?

I was at 1-1/4'' and they've shrunk down to roughly 3/4'' and have not gone down any further than that. I really don't mind the holes, but I figure if the surgery is free, what the hell.

hey. just another curiousity. If you were ok with keeping the holes naked for over a year, why not wear jewellery?

I recently started track racing (http://www.vic.cycling.org.au/site/cycling/image/fullsize/4240.jpg) and I definitely can't wear them while biking or weight training. But otherwise I just don't like 3/4, I want 1-1/4, and am too lazy to stretch back.

You're too lazy to put a pair of plugs in and ignore them for a few months between each size?

Earskins or silicone eyelets might be a solution to your sports, or just leave them naked for that.

Will knit/crochet for pretties. Seriously, try me. I like shiny ^.^

Well since most of usdont want to close our lobes we really dont know. You're going to have to do some leg work and visit surgeons and see who you are comfortable with doing the surgery for you.

    Im just that awesome!
