How to get a break in my text to make paragraphs?

    How to get a break in my text to make paragraphs?

    I was wondering, how do you insert an empty line in a post? If I am going to post I want it to be readable (I know I myself hate to read a big blob of text ;-)) Plainly pressing enter a number of times didn't work, nor did writing br with the < or [ like tags. I am puzzled because I see it happen in posts but cannot get it to work. Is there a secret trick that I have missed?

    Enter works perfectly fine for me. But if that's not working, you can hit the little "HTML" button in the bar when you're making a message. Then you can use </>.

    I have set it to enhanced, but I don't see any buttons. Could be my browser though as I don't have javascript and such enabled. The / thing, with or without the tags around it, unfortunately, no. Doesn't work. When I do put those tags in everything disappears that is written after the closing one. Ah well.. I will have to reduce my blabbiness to the mere necessities then to not make the posts too long ;)

    It must be your lack of java then, because the text editor is javascript encoded.

    I thought as much was the case. Maybe on my new install of linux I will fix this issue in opera with an updated version. Right now I just can't be bothered really :) Thanks for the replies!

    I use a Mac and I haven't figured out how to make breaks in the paragraphs. I don't see any HTML box or anything. Is this because of my Mac?

    i have to use firefox on the forums instead of safari or i have to use html
    1.5" lobes, 4g conches (punched at 4g stretched to 2g) , 2g nostrils (stretched from 8g piercings), 18g high nostrils,
