Hello everyone, just got my septum done this morning, and the piercing looks straight but it kinda leans to one side, and my piercer said to leave it to one side and it will fix itself, so i was wondering if leaving it up (because of work) would affect its alignment at all? and also, is it bad to keep it up for work and down all the rest of the time?

 LEAVE IT UP AND KEEP IT THAT WAY FOR ABOUT A MONTH YOU DONT WANT TO BE MOVING IT UP AND DOWN,, AND MINE LOOKED CROOKED AT FIRST WHILE IT WAS UP IN MY NOSE BUT NOW ITS FINE IVE HAD IT FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW

 constantly moving the ring will end up pissing the piercing off, and it will take longer to heal too... mine healed a bit off due to a deviated septum, but it looks perfectly straight.

alright so im leaving them up, how long does it usually take to heal? how do i tell if its healed? and im cleaning them twice a day, in the morning and night, how long should i keep doing this?

 mine took about 6-8 weeks before it was healed enough to change jewelry... i had my jewelry changed 2 weeks in though, so that may have slowed my healing time quite a bit.

 i left mine up for overa month cleaned it in the shower in the morning and at night before bed to get the daily crusties off and sooometimes i would get a qtip wet with hot water in the middle of the day if it got dry or bothersome and just kinda dabbed it inside just dont touch it with your fingers.. and it should heal up nice and quick
