    ripped earlobe

well ive been gauging my ears for awhile and when i had a 2 gauge my right ear got pretty infected and then i was stupid and kept going up. i got to 1/2" after my skin was pretty thin on my ear, and it ripped in half when i tried to take the gauge out and i went to a walk in clinic and they said they cant sew it up after 12 hours. but i havent been to the hospital and dont have that kind of money to get it stitched. so im gunna see if it will heal if i take care of it real well and out vitamin e oil on it. but if anyone has any advice that is optomistic it would be real helpful. and hopefully it somehow it heals i wanna try and get the 1/2" back if thats possible?

I don't think it can heal up without surgery.

Right now you have two little finger-like things that you used to be your lobe and you want to know if you leave them alone long enough they'll grow back together into a normal, non-ripped lobe?

The answer to that is most certainly no.

I'll try to be as optimistic and hopeful for you as much as i can, but the only thing i see for you getting back to that 1/2'' possibly, which i wouldn't recommend, is gettint it stitched back up. I don't believe as much damage as that can heal on its own. Sorry.

you need to get it stitched back up. human ears can't grow back together on their own

i don't think it's possible that it'd heal itself together on its own. you could contact a mod artist who does lobe reconstruction- they would probably be able to give you more options. either way, good luck.
