What kind of rinse for oral piercings do you find best?

Sea salt solution?

Biotene?

Act?

H2Ocean rinse?

Other?

I used sea salt solution until I could get to the grocery  store to get generic Act. I want to try Biotene, but I'll have to wait until I can get some extra cash. I like the minty Act rinse for after eating, but do you think I should use the sea salt solution for regular cleaning?

 I just got a labret...I normally use biotene anyway but I picked up some of the H2Ocean artic rinse from baf and I really like it, it seems to help. A week old and its not sore or swollen anymore. The taste is rather ick, like listerine watered down with salt water but thats basically what it is. Biotene itself is great too.

I like Biotene a lot! But I havent really tried anything else other than sea salt solution... But I use Biotene on a regular basis anyways...

 I throw my vote in for Biotene -- it doesn't burn, leaves a clean feeling, and comes in large bottles.

 I've never seen a generic for biotene. Could you let me know how it ends up working for you after using it for a bit longer? I use biotene for dry mouth issues mainly, but a less expensive generic would be great since I go through so much of it. 

Sure thing, I'll keep you posted. The ingredients are slightly different, but I carefully compared the labels prior to the purchase.

It was about $6.50 for 16 fluid ounces which sure beats the name brand price in most stores around here. It looks like that's about the going price for Biotene online, but then you'd have to worry about additional shipping charges and the like.

 Yeah, for me biotene was $9something for the smaller bottle. Shipping on a heavy liquid like that would be too much to make it worth it ordering online unless it wasn't available in a store near you. Thanks for keeping me posted, money suddenly got tight and I need to save where I can.
