ok I'm so confused, is 12mm a 1/2 inch cus i can only find 12mm tapers but when i look at plugs they are 13mm, am i gunna hafta stretch to 13mm with plugs?

p.s. this prolly sounds like i hav no idea wut i'm doing and the truth is I don't, so plz no replys with sarcasm. 

Yes and no... true 1/2" is just over 12mm but not 13mm...

12mm is between 7/16" and 1/2", so get some 12mm plugs and wait several months there before moving on to 1/2" (12.7mm-13mm depending on the manufacturer)

1/2 is 12.7mm i think 

i dont have any 12mm plugs to compare next to my 1/2 so i cant really say how far the diffrence is

and as for stretching, i taped up to 1/2 no problem

taping from 2-0 and 0-00 was harder than 7/16-1/2

1/2" is actually 12.7mm

most 1/2" stone plugs are 12mm

glass 1/2" is 13mm, but you can get 12mm from GWS too

most metal (titanium, steel) is exactly 12.7mm
