I know that there are a million stories like this on these boards but i had to vent.
Sooo... a guy just got hired at my work and I noticed he had just one lobe stretched. He wasn't wearing jewelry so I asked him what was up. Turns out he had gotten it pierced 3 years ago at a regular (18-14g) size and immediately tried to stretch it to the size of a highlighter...with a highlighter. :|
He said he knew better but wanted to go fast.
Needless to say he ripped it to shreds and it got all infected. Somehow he managed to leave in whatever object he shoved in the hole long enough and now he has a nasty gaping lobe hole 3 years later... in one earlobe.
Epic fail.
It made me sad.
