I was just wondering whether or not I could use a Monroe stud for my bottom lip because I like the gem-stud look for the bottom lip and the only jewelry I could find for that was a Monroe stud.   If someone could also point me to where they have good nose ring/lip jewelry that would be awesome.

 maybe you havent looked through the BAF product page, but thats the only place that someone is going to point you to on the BAF forums.

as long as its the appropriate length stud, i dont see why not.

"monroe studs" are the same thing worn in a labret... so its just a matter of finding jewelry you like.

i've noticed that the studs at claires labelled monroe studs are a bit longer lol so i dont know if thats why there is confusion :pp

i dont buy from there :) baf is cheaper, even with shipping and i love baf

plus... the claires things are all girlier than i personally would choose for myself 

and do not trust most claires products from there as i've bought some "sterling" silver (it did not say plated) and had a horrible nickel reaction

i was looking for a retainer so that i didnt have to wait for an order (wow 3 days) but never bought anything as i could see a seam on the retainer.  and i noticed that "monroe" labelled and "labret" labelled studs there were different lengths. D:

It's probably because it is crappy jewelry haha. that is why there are different lengths and labeled differently because they don't know that the jewelry is the same for either peircing. It could be their way of differentiating between lengths
