    Waiting time for 1g?

First of all, I tried to stretch 2g-0g around 8 months ago (my ears were healed), the taper didn't want to go all the way so I stopped, put my 2g plug back in and rest up my ears before I tried again. After a few small tries I decided I couldn't do the 2g-0g jump so I bought 1g plugs. I just used my 0g taper and gently pushed it in until it wouldn't go in any further and put my new 1g plugs in. Stretch didn't hurt and the plug just slid in. Now my question is how long should I wait before I stretch all the way up to 0g? It's been around 3-4 weeks that I've been at this size, and I can't really use the 'stretch when your lobes are loose enough' method. My lobes aren't really stretchy at all. They haven't been ever. And if it counts I use jojoba oil on my ears after I shower. Thanks in advance!

you should wait the same amount of time you would as any other stretch. its a 1mm jump, so treat it like normal. a good rule of thumb is 1mm per every 3-4 months.

I don't quite understand how you used a 0g taper to stretch to 1g. This is how a taper is used: http://forums.bodyartforms.com/forums/t/7296.aspx

I'd wait 3 to 4+ months. Everyone is different, just treat it as you would healing from any 1mm stretch.

I know how to use a taper I've been using them since I started at 16g. For the 1g I had to use my 0g taper.I couldn't find any 1g ones and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money ordering one off a site that would charge me a lot on shipping. Anyway, I used the 0g taper by measuring the taper on my gauge card, got a rough estimate on how far I'd have to slide the taper in my ear. Lubed up my ears/taper, slid it in until it wouldn't go in any more (which was what I estimated on my card too) , gently took out the taper and then put in my 1g plug. The plug isn't flared and its long so it just slid in really.

Where did you find 1G plugs? I'm actually got a stretching taper set that has both 1g and .5g(9mm) tapers, but I can't find any jewelry in those sizes (aside from some organics, which I don't really want to use to stretch with...)

BAF has a pretty good selection of 1g plugs.

I'm a big fan of the colorfronts.
