I know, I know. There's probably a zillion and a half topics open about healing scar tissue, but none of them really address my problem. Meh.
Anyway, I've had my ears stretched for a while now. Unfortunately, though, I was extremely stupid when I first started out (pre-BAF and BME for me, and the only information I had about stretching were the ill-informed at Hot Topic and a guy I know who went from a 2g to 1/2" in a few weeks) and - you guessed it - skipped sizes. I now have scar tissue in both ears. My left lobe seems thinner than my right, but is also much more elastic than the thicker one. I've downsized from 12mm to 7/16" and have already noticed a thickening in my left lobe.
I've been doing SSS, massages with Jojoba oil and sleeping with softer plugs at night (I can't take them out because the holes will shrink too much). I'm attempting to go as far as my left lobe will take, and trying to breathe some life into my ears. Is there anything else I can do to try to break down the scar tissue? Further downsizing, longer/more massages, more SSS?
I don't really want to have to get my ear scapelled, but will as a last resort (dermal punches freak me out).
