some problem going from 2g to 0g

two days ago i stretched my earlobes from a 2g to a 0g. it burned a little, and it was red and a little swollen, and the next day it seemed to be ok, until i took the gauges out to clean. it was bleeding, so i just got some ointment on, and put the gauges back in. i have no idea what to do. i've had some similar problems, and healed just fine. but since it is a bigger stretch, it is a little worse than the other times i experienced this.

what do i do? i've had the 0g in for about two days.

Don't use ointment on your lobes. Downsize pronto and heal for several months. Next time you stretch, do so slowly, use single or no flare plugs made of safe healing material, and don't skip sizes (1g).

definatly downsize. I had the same issue going from 2 to 0. It ended up taking me a year. My right ear was always the toughest since I sleep on it. But in all honesty, downsize, take it slow and never underestimate the power of a good salt soak

Sometimes I bleed because red is a good color on me

     (Plugs/jewelry/anything but not gauges!)

You got them out the day after your stretch? THAT might have pissed your lobes. I was often told to keep the stretching plug in a whole month before even thinking to take it off/change it.

Yeah. I shouldnt have taken it out. But i just downsized back yo my 2g and im going to take better care of it now. Like i said i've had similar problems and it turned out fine. But since it's a bigger stretch i have to say it is a little worse than other times. My lobes heal pretty fast though. And now that i did downsize it should heal even faster. I'm going to wait about 6 months to do this again and instead of going to a 0g i'm going to a 1g and then a 0g. but thanks everyone for the tips.
