Tongue Piercing

I'm getting my tongue pierced in 2 weeks. I was just wondering what I should expect, and any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated. =]

swelling, learning to eat differently for the first week or so, cleaning it after you eat, using crushed up ice can help reduce the swelling, and not supposed to smoke for the first two weeks.
