    you will not believe this

OK here's a little back story my fiance and i are buying my mother inlaws house my retarded sister inlaw and her husband  have a kid and their like 200thousand dollars in debt so we were nice enough to let them live with us untill they buy a house. so anyway to the point i get my order from baf yesterday i bought my fiance a pair of earrings and i bought myself a pair of silicone eyelets and a couple bags of sea salt. I'm in MY kitchen opening my SEASALT my retarded brother inlaw walks in i ask him if hes seen any scissors because the bag is glued shut he gives me a pair of scissors i put some salt in a cup add water and put it in the microwave to warm it up. then i go upstairs and soak my ears. several hours go by  were in our room watching a movie  and my mother inlaw busts in grabs the bag of sea salt and starts freak-in out and crying and shit going what is this were look-in at each-other like what the fuck is she talking about. then my sister inlaw busts in to have some kind of intervention saying that her husband saw me putting coke into little baggies so everyone is freaking out. me and my fiance are just looking at eachother laughing our asses off we actually had to come here to the forums to show them what sea salt was and that we ordered it. first off if i had a bag of coke that big and four of them i would be rich. second this is our house  mind your own damn business. and third if it was coke do you really think i would be dumb enough to pull it out in front of you and ask you for scissors to open it with. well i guess thats all i really have to say right now. and to the people at baf you may want to put a STICKER on the bag of sea salt in-case someone else lives with retards just to save them the trouble of going through this stupidity.

After a trip into the US, I was going through customs going back into Canada, and I got targetted for a random luggage check. So this rather amusing dude is going through my bags, and I happened to have little baggies of sea salt in my suitcase because I'd just had my philtrum pierced. He picks up a baggy and he asks, "What is this?!"

I blinked, pointed to my mouth, and was all, "Sea salt!! For my piercing."

He just chuckled at me and replaced the baggy. It was amusing after the fact, but my heart skipped a beat and I probably turned white when he asked.

Your story reminded me of that. :)

Re: you will not believe this

one of my coworkers recieved her first piercing and i brought a teeny baggy (like the kind plugs come in) of sea salt to work for her, and she left it out on her desk. she got a lot of attention for that, especially when i brought her another one a few days later because she had lost the other one. she asked me 'do you have the stuff?' and i discreetly passed it to her in front of my boss. it was hilarious.

its funny how people automatically assume its drugs. they could just, you know, feel the texture (through the bag even) and realize its salt.

Oh wow...I had a similar thing happen at school. Brought a friend some salt and a teacher saw me give it to her. No one believed me it was salt at first either. Since then I've written on the baggies what it is and the ratio to use vs. distilled water when I've given some to anyone or taken it anywhere in a bag.
