Actually, once they're healed, and if they've been properly pierced, tight corsets are A-OK. Speaking from personal experience, it shouldn't be a problem. I have a standard and inverse done and have no problem wearing tight corsets. If you were still worried about it (again, once they're healed), you could always put some bioplast in and replace your metal jewelry when you're through with the corset. 
And to add mine to the list, I'd love to have a dainty little vertical labret, but I work in an office setting in a hospital. The dress code/policy states that we can have facial piercings, but that you must wear a retainer in them while at work, and I'm not really sure how well that would work out...
