the issue with large double flare plugs.

My goal size is 00 so my friend bought me a pair of double flared eyelets rimmed in CZ gems. They're what I wanted and everything but it seems more like the tunnel is 8mm and the flare looks about 12mm. HUGE jump in my opinion. I'm thinking about stretching up a little to get them in, but what about getting them out? My ears will probably form to the 8mm over time and there'll be no way to get them out because of the massive flare. I could try taping and everything but that brings my initial goal up a little and bigger than the size I wanted. Any advice?

you can always tape to fit the flare and leave it there to wear the plugs and then take them out and replace them with a 00g plug. they won't fall out or anything

And preach their code of conduct:
"You've gotta push that, push that product"
We'll live in fear, for coats they may sheer
The fleecing of a fleeting flock
    You may have my wool
    You may have my locks
But my voice you have not
    My voice you have not
We're sitting ducks, with feathers plucked

You hide your fangs so cleverly dear
You sing your songs so prettily..."
