    So I've decided to take out my 2's and take a shower.. then I stared at my lobes and decided.. I'm going old school.

     

    I'm downsizing as far as I can in a 24 hour period and sticking with whatever size will fit at that point. (Most likely an 8 or 10.)

     

    I realize it will be about a year before I'm back to where I am now, but I'm in no hurry.. it will be fun to re-wear all the old jewelry I can't find in bigger sizes. :)

    I'm interested to see what size you end up as in 24 hours. Mine didn't really shrink much at all when I accidentally gave them an almost 24 hour break. Let us know how it goes! =)

     I actually ended up back at 4.

     

    I'm leaving my plugs out at night and for showers now to get the most downtime for my ears as possible.

    I was too at a 2g, and I decided to downsize for a day as well. I also am now at 4g :) Hooray for happy lobies!
    current:0g, 6g, 8g lobes, 14g navel, 18g L nostril, 14g L upper helix, 16g R daith, 2 16g tragus(es?), 2 tattoos

    in the future: 4g 2nd lobes, rook, conch, industrial, tongue, nipples, more tattoos

     When I was at 2ga and took out my plugs, for the first day they didn't shrink that much, probably only to a smallish 2ga (I was on the bigger side of 2ga) but then after the second day, I couldn't fit 4ga. That was the last time I tried, now I wear 14ga in it but usually I just leave them without jewelry.

     Yeah, I have a little bit of scar tissue I want to massage out before I got back to 2 later this year.
