    Square microdermal post?

So, I'm planning on finally getting my first microdermal in a couple of weeks...(finally! I've been researching/thinking/planning for about a year now). But today I decided to do a quick google search to see if anything new came up and I found this:

    dermalanchor.com

They are selling dermal anchor bases with square posts. Their explanation as to why sort of makes sense, but I just don't know if I like the sound of it. I'm definitely sticking with my original plan of getting it done at Industrial Primitives, but I was just curious if anyone else had heard of this or has any thoughts about it...

I wouldn't use them.  did you look at the close up picture?  It is so pitted and such it almost looks like it is made of wood.

The jewelry looks quite sub par. The design has one hole for tissue to grow through, not really 'anchoring' in my opinion.

Yeah, it almost looks like it's made out of old fashioned iron...pretty scaryTongue Tied

Craftsmanship aside, I do wonder if the square shape itself would cause a problem for healing. I just can't picture it working well. It never occurred to me that anyone would even think to make something like this...

I dont; see any part of that "jewelry" as good.

$750 divided by 75 bases = $10 a piece for those pieces of shit. Yuck...that alone is enough to tell you its not of any kind of quality material you'd want to implant into your body.

I am confused by your post. Are you saying that wholesale cost on microdermals should be super way higher than $10 each? Especially if buying in bulk like that.
