I think they are simply beautiful!  I am not a very blingy person... but something with minimal bling will suit me just fine!!

that unfortunately says nothing about the quality of the jewelry.

     Hahaha, wow.

Anyway... Sheldon, I have a pair of Anatometal blings and made a video trying to capture the sparkle of them (key word trying - I STILL couldn't catch all of their bling). Here it is:

They are really of impeccable quality. The gems are indescribably prettier than the cheapy rhinestones you get on "economy" blings.

plus you can have them custom made with whatever stones you choose (from their wide variety).  you can't do that with the cheepies.

    Re: So expensive. Why?

When I got my solid CZs, I put my economy CZs in the bottom of my jewelry box and haven't used them since; There is just no comparison. And the reason I have 3 pairs is because they are customizable and perfect. I've got my stock CZs, my BBQ blings, and my dandelion superblings.

    Kia sux.  Range FTW!

As someone said before, I think I'd rather spend the loot on a bunch of plugs.  But if my ears were that large and I could swing it, I might.  Besides the craftsmanship, the sheer size of a plug will also be cause for a higher price.

    All HAIL AMANDELLEN!!!

I'd love to get my hands on some Reign bling. I think the only thing holding me back is that I'm not sure how large I want to go with my lobes. And me being as cheap as I am, I don't want to pay a lot of money for something that I'll only wear until I stretch up.

every action has a point, five points make a fist.

    Re: So expensive. Why?

There are multiple reasons why some peoples jewelry is more expensive than others.  For example, some people don't do hand-polishing.  If you've ever stood before a wheel and polished something to a mirror-shine, you might understand why that might cost more.

Some people use a different quality of stones.  There are differences, believe it or not.

Some people use 'tubing' to make their items...Versus using a solid chunk of metal to make something hollow out of.   Using solid stock instead of tubing will raise the price.  A lot.  But some people prefer the outcome.

I won't say who does what, or why exactly people do what they do, but when it comes down to it, it's preference.  Preference and a quicker healing time.  It's a lot like the difference between why one would buy jewelry at Tiffany and Company, when they could go to Super Silver.

“Quality, quality, quality: never waver from it, even when you don't see how you can afford to keep it up. When you compromise, you become a commodity and then you die.”
