    * with or without the comma

i described it to 2 friends, and apparently i cant explain stuff too well, and the grammar is wrong on it too?

wat do YOU guys interpret it the meaining as?
and is the grammar wrong on it?

     I'd personally forego the punctuation

and my interpretation is that the lyric is profound from a badass band that I adore...

and frankly, it's YOUR tattoo.. .your intepretation is the one that counts most.

Not to be harsh, but I interpret it as meaning that if you have to get others to decode it for you then you shouldn't get it. It is permanent. It will be on you. You will have to answer the questions. Put your thoughts into it. Not the thoughts of others.

If you're not 100% set on getting it right now no matter what, don't get it yet. Wait until you're that confident about it.

In the words of quinnn (not sure if she's quoting anyone or just being a genious here), a tattoo shouldn't be something you can live with, it should be something you can't live without.
