I know im a dumbass but i wanted the cbb in because i couldnt really clean my septum piercing well it was hard for me to and i got the cbb in and like i can feel my nerve and it was hurting when i was changing the jewelry not the wound but i could feel my nerve in the wound while i was changing it after taking out my anatometal niobium septum retainer

it was sore earlier in the day cause its only been 4 days but after putting the cbb in the ball dropped in the sink when i was washing the ball cause it fell to the ground.. so then i didnt want a cbb with no balls at the end (internally threaded btw) and i took it out and i follow through with the retainer again. so i basicly switched jewelry in my septum 2 times

now my wound feels weird on the left side because of the nerve i can feel and like now that i push under my septum it doesnt hurt or even feel sore.. did i do some nerve damage or something ?? I dont know .. like it seriously doesnt feel sore at ALL in 4-5 days.. i can flick it and  push it but i havent tried bumping it and it doesnt hurt..

btw while doing these changes i made sure to wash my hands and the cbb was internally threaded and i was doing a seasalt soak before all this

please help me did i mess it up ? should i just take out the jewelry

oh and i see like a little tiny bloody spot on the left side of the wound. thats where the needle exited

Stop touching your piercing. Leave it the hell alone and let it heal, chances are your fine.

 Agreed.  Also, soak it in SSSs twice a day.  But mostly importantly, DO NOT touch your piercing and don't even think of changing jewelry for at least a month, if not more.  If you're truly scared that you've damaged your piercing, consult your piercer about it.

 More "stop touching!". Don't change it any more- just let it be. If for some reason you absolutely HAVE to change it- go to your piercer.

You shouldn't have any trouble cleaning it with the retainer in- the only thing you really "have" to do is SSS which requires no touching. What were you doing? 

 i do my sss's and i get a q tip and rub it around the wound and clean the jewelry a bit and flip it up to clean under the wound and flip it down to get those spots i cant really get 

 You should try to avoid flipping/moving it around so much. Being that thorough and doing all that q-tipping isn't really neccessary, though I do understand feeling the need to banish all crusties to hell. You could end up irritating it more, though.

 I would just leave it alone. if you want to do salt soaks you can do them with the retainer up without moving it around.  Seriously, you need to stop messing with it.

stop fucking around with it. it hurts because it is four days old and you have a giant puncture wound going through the middle of your nose.

just hold a shot glass with your soak in it up to your nose. blow bubbles, keep it still, whatever. after 5 to 10 minutes, dump the sss and fill the shot glass with warm water. rinse your nose out, dump the water, and walk away. you don't need to do anything else. most people i know let their septum heal without doing soaks, including myself.

like the soreness is like gone now ever since i changed the jewelry back and forth

well mine was sore for 3 days and ever since i changed the jewelry back and forth twice the soreness completely went away and i could feel the nerve that used to be there in the wound when i would move my piercing  :|

 this is going nowhere fast.  we are not doctors and cannot tell you how your nerves are.  If you are still curious about it then see your physician. 

Do you have anymore questions about the healign of your septum?
