Removed my piercing about 3 months ago and have been really bothered by the fact that one of my ears has a crease from the hole up to near where the lobe and ear canal meet. I was wondering what this is caused by (i was thinking scar tissue but wasn't sure) and if theres anyway to like massage it away or something. (Piercing removed was always 12g)

It was a regular ear piercing that was pierced at 12g and I wore either a plug or cbr

It's been a few days and I guess nobody has an answer but if you even have a guess i'd really appreciate your help

part of your problem is that the picture is small and blurry. all detail is lost. try again with the macro option turned on, and try to keep the camera steady. 

 i see what you mean but it is really blurry.

you could try massage but with that it may just be the way the scar is. my friend took out his earing and you can still feel the scar and see the dot. you may just have to live with it.  

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but i didn't wanna start another thread for the same problem, but I have tried massages and haven't seen any real improvement, i'm sure the fold is caused by the ball of scar tissue. I have heard that cortisone injections can cause scar tissue to shrink and i'd assume if the scar tissue shrank then the fold would flatten out more.

 Do cortisone shots really reduce scar tissue or is this just a myth?

 cortisone injections are used to treat inflamation and swelling I believe.  I have no idea whether or not they would have an effect on scar tissue.
