    i just got my monroe pierced 4 days ago and  there is kinda swelling on the inside but its just like on one side of the flat part is that normal? plz people that know what there talking about answer thanks

    Is it painful? Is it secreting strange colored lymph?

     that happened to my labret and i figured out it was because my jewelry was too tight. is your jewelry long enough?

    1" lobes, 6g labret, 8g tongue (retired for now because of keloid/blowout/something)

    its not secreting anything but the normal stuff it doesnt hurt. not the jewlery is not tight at all the piercer but one in that was long enough for for any swelling. the swelling around the flat part is actually going down now.

    also i would like to know what is the best thing to use for fresh piercings besides sea salt soaks

     I tend to go with LIMA (leave it mostly alone).  I rinse new piercings (very well) in the shower after I am done bathing and shampooing to get rid of any crusties or dirt as well as to get rid of any residue from shampoos and soaps.

    My monroe swelled a few days after getting it done as well. I just kept up normal cleaning (in the shower and SSS) and it stopped after a little while.

    it could just be because it takes about 4-6 weeks to heal completely

    when i got mine done, it was still kinda sore and red for about 3-4 weeks still. it could also be scar tissue, for some reason in my mouth inside the piercring hole, i developed some scar tissue, its not bad it just makes it harder to change my piercing. hope this helps(:

    Have you been rinsing your mouth out after eating/smoking? If you haven't that could be irritating it. If you have, it's just not done healing. Wait it out.

    i do rinse after everything .also i would like to like to know yalls opinion about the biplast labrets and what length should i get.

    In my experience, the bioplst ends are really easy to lose. I had one fall out while I was sleeping and had to spend 15 minutes in the morning fiddling around with my piercing and then had to baby the hell out of it for a month.

    But if you do buy one, they generally come in one standard, long length and you can cut them to the appropriate size.

    i know this may seem stupid but i was just wondering which post is shorter 16 5/16 or 16 3/8

     3/8 = 6/16  so 3/8 is bigger than 5/16

    ok i have another question. ok i know i'm getting scare tissue on my monroe piercing how do u get rid of it if u can please help i would appreciate it.i really dont wanna have to take it out i love it too much

    I suppose you could message it with emu oil, but I could be wrong

    Current Mods: 5/8" lobes, 18g helix, 16g rook, 16g anti-tragus, 18g double nostrils, 14g septum, clavical microdermals (healing), 5 tattoos including a full sleeve on my left arm that is half way finished

    Retired: 16g monroe, 16g snakebites, 18g 2nd nostril piercing on Left side, 16g eyebrow

    Future mods: 11/16" (almost to my goal size of 3/4") lobes; tattoos: koi,cherry blossom, and lotus leg project; music leg project; and feet project
