    Re: Male Belly button piercing

I haven't seen a guy with one. I think it's one of those things that society decided is a "girl thing", hence the shit giving.

I think you should do whatever you want, and actually it would be kinda hot. But if I were you, I don't think I could deal with the crap I'd be getting for it all the time.

Current mods: 7/16" lobes, secondary standard lobes, 14g conch, 14g orbital, 14g industrial, 6g tongue, 14g navel, 14g nipples, 10g septum (Septum Klub 2K7!!1!), two happy tattoos

Most of the male navel piercings i've seen have been stretched to some extent. I'm not sure why.. maybe they feel like bigger is more manly?

I've never seen a a navel piercing in person on a straight guy, but I have seen pictures on the internet. There aren't a ton, but there are some.

My theory is, if you want it, get it. after all it will likely be covered by a shirt most of the time anyway, right? It's your body, and if you don't mind dealing with the shit that close-minded people give you, then you should do it.

Your body, therefore your choice.  I like the way the opposite sex looks with bellybutton piercings, its all based on opinion, but back to the point: if you like it get it done!Smile

My boyfriend and my best friend have their inverse navel done (okay, so my best friend is gay but my boyfriend is most definitely straight!). I really love it, but I do think inverse navels look better on guys than standard navels do, for some reason.

If you want it get it, if not then don't. It is considered a girly thing, similar to nostril piercings, but both are totally hot on guys IMO. I think a larger gauge would look better on a guy, maybe ask if you can get it initially pierced at 10g or something? As long as you don't wear dangly barbells or anything with sparkly gems, its not girly at all.

not around here.  i've seen it on a good amount of guys (straight and gay).  i'm just not a big fan of it, at all.  i don't like it on chicks either, though.

My boyfriend Bob's 3/4" navel. I love it. I couldn't imagine him without it.

Don't let gender issues decide what modifications you decide to get. If you want a navel piercing, do it.

    Re: Male Belly button piercing

I'm a boy and I currently have five navel piercings, don't worry about what people think about it. It's just like any other piercing you can get, there shouldn't be anything weird about it.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c176/ToxicXbelladonna/navel.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> This is from when I had four of them, the top was replaced with two diagonal ones after an appendectomy caused me to lose it.

EDIT: My image failed and I don't know how to fix it.

I gender bent the Heaven sent Angelic Devil boy with God's androgynous, I'm lookin' marvelous, but looks can kill.
