I don't have them, but typically extensions that look good/real are expensive and ones that are cheap look just that, pls often they are quite damaging to your real hair in the process and afterwards, just a warning. Do you mean hair braided into your own, or glued in extensions to give the effect of longer and thicker hair?

get them glued in not braided in, use real hair not synthetic, and you are going to need to spend a few hundo for them not to look fake/like shit with the seams sticking out of your real hair

I do know that some methods are damaging to hair, but i am trying to lean torwards less harmful methods.
& i also know i am getting human hair that isnt going to be glued in, because glue just doesn't work, peroid.

two of my roommates are all about the hair extensions.  the blond one has a jessica simpson set and another synthetic set that i believe she paid about $100 or so for.  then she found some sort of hair warehouse walking down the street one day that sells all this human hair in every possible color.  she got a whole bunch for like $30 or something.

the brunette one also had the same type of synthetic extensions and then got some of the real ones as well that were just a *perfect* match for her hair.  anyway, she loves them and seriously wears them all the time.  they both love them actually.

i use human hair glue-in extensions.  i get them at the local beautician shop nearby and i got a whole track matched perfectly to my hair colour for $25.  glue in lasts anywhere from 1-3 weeks ( you can't wash them obsessively ).  and if they get loose, just take them out and put them back in or just do touch ups here and there.

i have clip in ones, i bought them for about $50-60 for a whole head set of real human hair in dark brown off ebay, really good quality but you have to attach the clips yourself.

my bestfriend used to wear extensions. she would get the whole set ones and they were either human hair or horse, or something real. i think she got them for around 50$ a piece and they are clip ons. it looked quite real and you won't see anything stick out, as long as you clip them on properly. i'd say, go with real hair, clip on ones!
