So I think most of you know about my obsession with teardrop eyelets/plugs/anything. This is my newest addition.

I bought a pair of clearance teardrop
wood eyelets from BAF with the intentions of eventually gluing some
sort of cab inside of it. The eyelets sat around for awhile as I was
having a hard time finding cabs that were the right shape and size.
Then about two weeks ago, while I was in Value Village, I came across a
pair of teardrop shaped metal clip on earrings with rose quartz. I
bought them right away and to my surprise, it almost fit over the wood
eyelets perfectly. I had to spend a bit of time sanding down the flares
of the eyelets, just so when I glue the earrings on top, the wood
wouldn't be showing. Finally when everything matched up, I've glued
them together and here they are. I put them in my ears briefly for the
photos. I plan to wear them in Kaos earskins to protect my ears from
any possible exposed glue and to keep them in more snug as they're
around 1" and my lobes are more around 1 1/16".

Jagerick joined the room.
