I have a 2 month old inner conch punch and it started getting a little fussy with a touch of hypertrophic scarring.  I went on vacation for spring break last week and didn't take as good care of it as I usually do. *shame*  I got myself some chamomile and I had a few questions.  I poked around a few of the threads and had some of my questions answered but I have one that I couldn't find. 

I'm still doing SSS, so when should I do my chamomile compresses: before, after, or completely separate from the SSS (like chamomile in the morning, SSS at night)?  I don't know if there's a rule of thumb or if you wonderful people have your own preferences that you would like to share.  Any help/answers would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

 when I did chamomille compresses it was because of infection.  I was to do it 3x daily for 5-10 minutes followed by a salt soak also for 5-10 minutes.

I don't know if chamomille will do anything for scaring.  I suggest downsizing. 

It helped with the scarring on my industrial. I didnt really soak my industrial after the thrid month, so I would just do it twice a day and drink the tea while I held the bag on my ear...

Chamomile has helped my industrial with scarring too. After a sss, the tea was done and I drank that while holding the bag over the area.  

When I get hypertrophic scarring I do a chamomile compress for 5 minutes followed by a 5-10 minute sss straight after. Seems to work extremely well for me.

 Would it make any difference if you put the chamomile tea in a mug with Sea Salt Water? like would that be a good way to do both at the same time?

 And if you want to, can you put your piercing in the mug with the camomile tea in it or will that do nothing? is it only the tea bag that will help with the scarring?

just asking because I just got my industrial and I definitely have some hypertrophic scarring on one of the holes

 (and I don't really like camomile tea so its not like I would drink it anyways, only like mint for some reason)
