    hey whats up guys. ive just been think is stretched second lobes overkill on an ear in terms of stretching or like whats all your opinions about it Cool

    No, not overkill. I think it usually looks pretty nice, personally. It all depends on the person, and as long as there is sufficient room between the two stretched piercings, I think it's fine.

    I personally prefer the look of a single stretched lobe, but I don't see a problem if the person having them likes them.
    Don't lie about your stretching history kids, the catbutt always catches up with you eventually. ;)

    I'm stretching one second lobe... 

    This is because...

    a) I want to be a bit different Smile

    b) I want to wear my big danglies in my first lobe piercings....

    But after seeing people with their first piercings stretched I am really itching to stretch them....

    So really it is just a matter of personal preference....  

    Left Ear: 2 20g lobes, 14g rook, 14g helix (retired)
    Right Ear: 14g first lobe, 18g second lobe
    Septum! 14g - Oh yeah! :D

    I am planning on having my 2nd and 3rd stretched. What I hope to do is have my firsts @ 2g, seconds @ 4g and thirds @ 6g.

    I know a lumberjack.

     I currently have my first holes at 8g and plan on staying there for awhile.  I decided that if I ever stretch the first holes bigger, I'm stretching my second holes to 8g due to my collection...and I also like the way they look.  lol

    Current: 8g Lobes, 16g Tragus, 16g Rook, 16g Conch, 16g Daith, 16g Helix, 18g L Nostril

    I like the look, I have 9/16" and 2g and I get comments all the time about how nice it looks...

    It's only overkill if YOU say it is.  If you want it, if you like it, then do it.

    I don't think it's overkill at all. I'd stretch my second set of holes if they hadn't closed up already. They were gunned when I was twelve and they were constantly getting infected and irritated, so I just let them close up. I realize now that half of the problem was probably from wearing bad quality studs with butterfly backs.

     I used to have my second and third holes stretched. The biggest my seconds holes were at was 0g and 6g in my third. I've retired them all because of crowding (amongst other problems) though, because I wanted to stretch my first holes to a much bigger size than what I have intended to in the first place.

    I, too, used to have both  my second and third lobes stretched. I decided to downsize to well...nothing lol but thats cause I thought they looked a little crowded at the larger sizes and I was too lazy to wear earrings especially at night so by the time I was in the middle of class putting in earrings, it tended to take quite a long time.

    i have one of my second lobes stretched, the other retired because of poor placement.

    oh, and fwiw, I had at their largest my 1st holes at 3/4" and my 2nd holes at 1/2"  

     If you do stretch large, be prepared for the spare tire effect.
