    Eyelets

Since Ive finally decided to suck it up and dermal punch my inner conch to a 2ga(6mm) I was wondering if the BAF economy single flare eyelets are 6mm or 6.5mm. I know that all IS stuff at 2ga is 6.5mm, and I dont really like the flares on anatometals jewelry :)

They are a step flare...Im not a fan of those myself. I mean they are excellent quality I just dont like how they look. So nobody knows if a BAF economy tunnel is 6mm I take it :P

    Re: Eyelets

You can order custom eyelet lengths from Tuflon.com..but BAF sells some Tuflon stuff, not sure on the wearable area, though.
And I agree with Quinn, definitely use glass for the piercing..that's what I always hear recommended for anything large gauge.

    Re: Eyelets

I'm gonna guess its like a flare that doesnt smoothly flare out, like the Kaos eyelets or the IS eyelets. A step flare is exactly that, its a sharper flare

    Re: Eyelets

the anatometal ones to me look more like a tophat deal..that's how I read step flare. I always hated the way that looked. Why don't you go for the IS titanium if you wanted color or something.

but i do say glass for the healing initially. :)

    Re: Eyelets

There are two main styles of flare, a progressive flare and a step flare..progressive ones taper outward, whereas step flares are exactly what they sound like: a larger area that suddenly steps down instead of tapering.

    I learn something new everyday.

I will see if I can get you a decent picture that shows our flares.... they are smooth as can be. I am sure Amanda can take a quick picture as well.
