I'm so upset my poor dog is missing [

] This afternoon she followed my nephew out and my sister in law called out to us that Muffin escaped (she loves my nephew and is his shadow). Since my mother was following them out the door I assumed she picked the dog up and put her inside like she has so many times before.
Then later my father asked me where Muffin was and my heart dropped. She's a sleeper so I first checked around the house to see if she was in some hidden cozy nook, but she wasn't. I mean we've had pets run away before, but that's usually when they are young. Muffin is an eight year old little maltese and she is nothing short of a pansy. I know she can't survive out there very long on her own.
To make things worse there have been some dog poisonsings in our neighborhood and our next door neighbors hate us because the poodles barked (for the five minutes they were let out) when they had a baby and still bark now because their kids throw sticks and stones at our dogs. We've called a few neighbors and they're keeping an eye out for her but I'm really worried and panicked. Sorry for the long post I'm just upset.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination. [:-goldfish]
