When did you start sleeping with your plugs out of your lobes?

That's all, just kind of a poll.

It was probably around 0ga /emoticons/emotion-1.gif

8g... and most of the times my plugs would just fall out of my sleep.

I'm at 2g and still don't take my jewelry out when I sleep.

Ditto. Just leaving them out at the pool is bad enough, I always bring a taper to make it easier.

I took 'em out to sleep around 0g or so, when it became really uncomfortable. I hardly wear jewelry at 5/8", though, haha.

Strangly... mine just came out for the first time in my sleep last night. I am at 2g... and I have no idea how it happened because its never happened before. Anywho... thats all

I'm at 00g now and I don't sleep without plugs in. Most of the time I switch to KAOS's to sleep in. I DO take them out for anywhere from 1hr to 4 hrs after a shower at home too /emoticons/emotion-1.gif

I started taking them out at 2g and I still do now at 00g. It really does help with blood flow and thickening, not to mention comfort

now and then I take them out but I wasn't able to until I hit 3/4" without them shrinking down considerably.

Yep, all my piercings close ridiculously fast. If I take out my 8g flatbacks, clean them, and go to put them back in, they won't go in. I have to bust out the taper, and it even hurts.

i dont ever take mine out. i wear 2g DF eyelets so in dont have a problem with them fallin out. also, they are mighty comfortable. i dont even notive them in, unless i am pulling, twisting them, or checkin for ear juice.

other than wearing organics, is there any other way to get rid of the ear sweat?

..Clean them regularly? Organics are your best bet, as they tend to just absorb the funk since they're so porous.

I never take mine out except to clean them, and I'm at a 1g. I actually bought a memory foam pillow because it makes sleeping on big earrings a lot more comfy.

How'd the stretch go? I would imagine that your hole would shrink without anything in there for... 6 weeks.

Toward the person that is having pain re-inserting at 8g. That's fairly odd to hear. I think the only time I had any problems with any 8g re-insertion was after I lost my Apadravya 2 months into healing...ouch. But aside from that 8g should slide in fairly easy.

However you mentioned cleaning making me think I should note something that isn't talked about often. If you clean plugs off well and have clean or even wet ears, there is a good chance that the very soft tissue of your ear will grab a little. If I were you I would think about using some Vitamin E (Form of 'liquid') or Jojoba oil.

Sorry about the wonder twins joke.

yeah 6 weeks is a long time to keep something out of your ears, and them stretching them, from a 00g to a 7/16, after that. maybe it was a typo, but that seems kinda of painful and unhealthy if you ask me.

3/4th is when i started to sleep with them out... but its not necessary... just put some kaos plugs in.

I don't remember what size I was; I saw a picture of a man whoes ears were pinched in his sleep. The circulation was damaged resulting in him losing his ears. It scared me so now I do not sleep with anything hard in my ears. Kaos or nakid.

I'm at a 7/16" and I tried sleeping without plugs in for the first time two nights ago. It was really comfortable...until the next morning when I almost couldn't get them back in. Heh, guess mine close up pretty fast...but I do still take them out for showers for what little it's worth.

I take mine out when ever they feel too loose.
bc i play with them alot and i like them to be a little tighter. but that was at 0 i have just stretched to 7/16 and they are healing so i only do to clean

I'm at 0g since 6 months and 4 months, and I only remove them for cleaning/shower. For sleeping, Kaos are my best friends. [:-smile_green]
